We are not your ordinary coffee shop, by any means, and here is why: We don't purchase pre-packaged items to resell.

Our mouthwatering sandwiches, salads and pastries are all made in-house by our talented team of staff and students; breakfast burritos, sandwiches decked out with special sauce, fresh salads, baked goods. Our treats are filled with buttery goodness and crafted in such a way that you may not want to share it with anyone else.

When you visit Special Grounds Coffee, you’re not just getting a cup of coffee or fresh-baked pastry. You’re helping to provide amazing culinary vocational training for our students at New Horizons Academy. At Special Grounds, our students and kitchen staff work together to craft scratch-made baked goods, soups, salads, and sandwiches. It’s the perfect place to grab a bite and meet a friend, all while supporting our amazing students.
